Space Cowboy

Postmaster calls the difference of opinion a moot point
He wanders around the topic at hand
With deftness, his calloused finger slides down
Hitting the wall, a switch turns
Something to sprout from the ashes
Tales of adventures beckon
The change in the air won't lose its breath

Some things are insignificant in the greater picture

Wordsmithing has come slowly if at all in the preceding months. It is of no consequence. Take each breath and enjoy that you have it. Word that a relation of mine has unexpectedly lost both hands and feet to perils of vacationing has struck a dissonant chord within me. Through no fault of her own, she is now forced to face the future with severe handicaps. Such is the dice roll of life, unexpect to live the future as it seems destined, because there are no guarantees. It is hard to accept some things.

Dream of the Sun

I watched the movie "Sexy Beast" the other day. It's a hell of a watch. I like the more subtle version of gangsterism that European movies evoke that is so different from the American ones. No rambo still kill 'em all mentality here. Just a man trying to get away from the heist life with his ex-pornstar wife. Following the thread of Jonathan Glazer the director I realized that he was the vision behind some really great music videos:

-The Universal - Blur
-Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai
-Rabbit in your Headlights - UNKLE ft. Thom Yorke
-Treat Me Like Your Mother - The Dead Weather
-Live with Me - Massive Attack

Check 'em out, home biscuits.

Land of the rising Sun?

Bob Marley tunage has made the monotony of a Joe job more bearable. Dreaming of a month in Japan is another handy trick. Airfares are fairly reasonable now...
