Snakey Island Day

I skipped out on St. Patty's day celebrations this year. Shamrocked out. I've got Irish blood flowing through my veins every other day of the year, so it's really a day like every other. Maybe it's even better to be Irish and not drunk on this day? Take that, stereotypes (although, for the record, I'm Canadian). It seems to me that bringing Christianity to Ireland maybe caused more bad than good, but theology clearly isn't my thing. I call bullshit on driving the snakes out too. I probably would've gone out on the town, except that last night ended a little bit late, and this morning started way too early. When the city is thirsty, I have more work to do. Thankfully an hombre of mine bailed me out so I could sneak in an afternoon nap. Naps and baths are generally frowned upon by young bucks, but I think old people are on to something. Tea too, what a great beverage (sorry coffee -- I still love you -- and my body still hates you).
