triumphantly tired

of comfort and food

My sickness finally left me, only to see myself sprung into another kind of energy draining situation. I regret not having the energy to blog out to you fellas yesterday, but priorities like downing a can of beer after a 12 hour work day had enveloped my attention. I wrote the above poem during my subway ride home, and meant to post it in lieu of a more coherent text, but lacked the focus to do so. I noticed some pretty ladies noticing me secretively out of the corner of their eye. It was probably because I smelled like a dirty construction worker and it was Valentine's day. So of course I went home to drink brews with my bros and watch the leafs get decimated by a team with a superior goaltender. I must be some kind of a masochist to be a leafs fan. Shit hurts.

A craving for some donkey kong hit me earlier, but now I'm stupid tired and just want to vege out in my stench.
